Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-09-28

These Terms govern your use of the service provided by Easy Studio ("Openfolio"). By signing up, you agree to these Terms.

1. Free public beta

Openfolio is currently provided as a free public beta. There is no paid product, subscription, or refund process yet. If paid plans are introduced, we'll announce them in advance along with updated terms.

2. Your account

You can sign up with GitHub, Google, or an email magic link. You're responsible for safeguarding your account, and should notify us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the text, images, and links you add to your profile and projects. You confirm you have the legal right to publish that content. Openfolio only displays your content to the extent needed to provide the service.

4. Visibility

Basic profile information is published on your /@handle page as soon as you create an account, with no separate publish step required. For each project, you choose the visibility yourself: Public, Unlisted, Private, or Draft. A Public project appears in your project listing and may be indexed by search engines. An Unlisted project is visible only to someone with the exact link — it doesn't appear in the listing and isn't indexed by search engines. Private and Draft projects are never exposed on any public page. Digital business cards also let you choose the visibility yourself: Public, Unlisted, or Draft. A Public card is reachable at its own URL and may be indexed by search engines, but Openfolio does not currently have a general public listing or discovery page that collects public business cards. An Unlisted card is reachable only via the exact link and isn't indexed by search engines. A Draft card is never exposed on any public page. You're responsible for your visibility choices and their consequences.

5. Prohibited use

You may not publish content that violates applicable law, infringes someone else's rights, impersonates another person, distributes spam or malicious code, or disrupts the operation of the service.

6. Content moderation

Content or profiles found to violate these Terms may be made non-public. Send reports or questions to the email below.

7. Changes and interruptions

Openfolio is a beta service, and features may change or be temporarily unavailable without notice. We'll try to give advance notice when we can.

8. Restricting access

If you violate these Terms, we may restrict your account after notice (or, in urgent cases, after the fact).

9. Limitation of liability

Openfolio is not liable for damages arising from this free beta service except where caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence. Where applicable law provides otherwise, that law controls.
